Philip is a BACP registered humanistic integrative Counsellor and UKCP registered Psychotherapist who has been practicing since 2020. He draws from a variety of theories to work relationally with each client, incorporating aspects of attachment and development, transactional analysis, and gestalt, with a basis in neuroscience and the felt experience.

Previously Philip studied law and worked as a professional photographer, and a consultant for creative professionals, from graduates to CEOs. He also spent a number of years helping long-term unemployed people to achieve their goals, as well as working with people with disabilities. He brings this life experience to work creatively with clients from all backgrounds and differing circumstances. His belief is that a positive outcome for every individual can be reached through a compassionate relationship, grounded in honesty and mutual respect.

Philip has worked with clients experiencing life-changing events, depression, trauma, anxiety, bereavement, chronic illness, relational difficulties, identity discomfort, dependency issues, neurodivergence and work related problems, as well as adult adoptees and those who have experienced  difficult childhoods. Other clients come with a less specific need, and are seeking a greater understanding of themselves and their place in life. He welcomes people of colour, across cultures and all forms of spirituality, as well as those who are neurodiverse and people who identify as LGBTQIA+
