Philip is a BACP registered humanistic integrative Counsellor who has been practicing since 2020. He draws from a variety of theories to work relationally with each client, incorporating aspects of attachment and development, transactional analysis, and gestalt, with a basis in neuroscience and the felt experience.
Previously Philip studied law and worked as a professional photographer, and a consultant for creative professionals, from graduates to CEOs. He also spent a number of years helping long-term unemployed people to achieve their goals, as well as working with people with disabilities. He brings this life experience to work creatively with clients from all backgrounds and differing circumstances. His belief is that a positive outcome for every individual can be reached through a compassionate relationship, grounded in honesty and mutual respect.
Philip has worked with clients experiencing life-changing events, depression, trauma, anxiety, bereavement, chronic illness, relational difficulties, identity discomfort, dependency issues, and work related problems, as well as adult adoptees and those who have experienced difficult childhoods. Other clients come with a less specific need, and are seeking a greater understanding of themselves and their place in life. He welcomes people of colour, across cultures and all forms of spirituality, as well as those who are neurodiverse, and people who identify as LGBTQIA+.
He is currently in his final year of study as a UKCP Psychotherapist, and is also undertaking training in Ancestral Systemic Constellations.

Annzella is a fully qualified psychotherapist registered with UKCP. She has been practising psychotherapy for over 20 years. Her original training was in Transpersonal Psychotherapy. Since then she has followed her interest in various forms of psychological healing which includes Jungian dreamwork and Fairytales, Focusing, Meditation and Mindfulness, the latter being an ongoing personal practice and development.
“As soon as you are true yourself, you will know how to live”. Goethe
Annzella has recently completed training in Internal Family Systems, and assists on their training programmes and run Introductory workshops on IFS. Bessel Van der Kolk, one of the world’s leading experts in trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, views IFS as the best model for working with trauma and complex PTSD. IFS works well with any type of mindfulness practice. Mindfulness allows us to survey our inner landscape with compassion and curiosity and can actively help us to make wise decisions to steer our lives in the right direction.IFS helps us to access that wise and knowing self-leadership.
Annzella is the only fully trained IFS practitioner in Wales. IFS is an effective and practical way to treat trauma and is one of the fastest-growing therapeutic models in the field today. When we think about a traumatic experience our physical and emotional reactions are often overwhelming. This can make it difficult to treat when using therapies that rely solely on talking. Trauma affects not just our thinking and emotions but also our bodies.
For more information on IFS see: https://www.selfleadership.org
Annzella also works with couples and offers supervision and training and will work via Skype or zoom.
